My dogs are not easy dogs to take care of. And Marla is one of the very few people I trust to watch my special needs doggies. Marla loves them and they love their Aunt Marla, too. That's the thing with Marla - you can tell she loves animals and you know that she is going to take loving care of your four-legged family members. Special diet, medications, separation anxiety, handicapped ... you name it and Marla has it covered. And when you invite someone into your home, you're trusting them on that level also. I implicitly trust Marla in my home. Heck, I leave her with one of my credit cards in case the dogs need to go to the vet while I'm gone. And I trust Marla to make that judgement and then take them to the vet also.
Marla is a kind and loving person and I'm happy that she's in our lives.
We have been clients of Marla's for over 5 years and feel completely at ease with her taking care of our cats and dog. In addition, she provides general house sitting duties. She is dependable, trustworthy, and meticulous with all aspects of our needs while we are away from home. Being the daughter of a veterinarian I have a high bar set for anyone stepping in for me and Marla meets it every time. There have been instances where our furry kids needed medical treatment ranging from pills, IV fluids to flushing out a healing abscess, Marla was able to manage all of it. Her flexibility is a savior as our careers sometimes demand us to be gone for long hours unexpectedly. Another plus is her fun personality. Marla knows animal care and behavior. She brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to her work. Her dedication far exceeds any pet sitter I have used in the past. Our animals look forward to seeing her. The special attention she shows them is obvious. We believe they like to call her "Aunt Marla"!
I can't say enough about Marla. I've used her now for 12 years! I trust her implicitly with my two adopted seniors, as well as taking care of my home when I go out of town. Dog needs meds - no problem....special diet.....no problem. You simply can't go wrong with her. She even brought in my garbage pails after trash pick up!!

She is dependable, trustworthy, and meticulous with all aspects of our needs while we are away from home. Our animals are both young and senior so they have varying degrees of required attention. Being the daughter of a veterinarian I have a high bar set for anyone stepping in for me and Marla meets it every time. There have been instances where our furry kids needed medical treatment ranging from pills, IV fluids to flushing out a healing abscess, Marla was able to manage all of it.
